Fees

Assetmarket keeps platform fees simple.

Platform fees

FeeAmount
Listing feeNone
Acquisition success feeNone
Trading fee1% per buy or sell

The trading fee is taken when a market participant buys or sells a listing position.

Standard closing package

Assetmarket covers the standard legal and closing-service package for acquisitions completed through the platform.

This includes the standard transaction work required to close through Assetmarket.

It does not include each party's separate counsel, tax advice, accounting advice, unusual negotiation work, or costs outside the standard closing process.

Seller costs

Assetmarket does not charge sellers a listing fee or acquisition success fee.

Assetmarket covers the standard legal and closing-service package for the platform transaction.

Sellers should still plan for:

  • Operational handover work.
  • Separate counsel, tax, or accounting advice if they choose to use it.
  • Third-party costs outside the standard closing process.

Buyer costs

Buyers should plan for:

  • The acquisition purchase price if the deal closes.
  • Infrastructure, account, or third-party transfer costs outside the standard closing process.
  • Separate counsel, tax, or accounting advice if they choose to use it.
  • Optional earnest deposit if the buyer wants exclusive DD.

The earnest deposit is 2% of the purchase price. If posted, it is credited against the purchase price at closing.

Market participant costs

Market participants pay the 1% trading fee when buying or selling.

Trade execution can also differ from the displayed price when a trade is large enough to move the market price.

What is not a platform fee

The following are not Assetmarket platform fees:

  • Tax or accounting costs.
  • Infrastructure costs.
  • Third-party software transfer costs.
  • Buyer-owned marketing, sales, or customer support costs after closing.
